Benjamin S. Briggs represents and advises clients in all aspects of labor and employment law, including wage and hour, discrimination, and retaliation claims, HR training and internal audits, and drafting and enforcing employment contracts, restrictive covenants, separation agreements, and employee handbooks.

Ben grew up in West Michigan, where his family owns and operates the largest farm in the county. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ben worked for a roofing company and a billboard construction company. Before joining Cotney, Ben spent more than five years practicing employment and appellate law. Ben continues to utilize his diverse employment background and experience in his representation of clients with Cotney.
