Travis McConnell is an associate attorney in Cotney’s Jacksonville, FL office. His practice involves a variety of areas in construction law, including Commercial Litigation, OSHA Defense, Contract Law, Corporate Governance, and Land Development Regulation. Since admission to the Florida Bar, Travis has counseled and advocated for businesses of all sizes, from family-run contractors to major insurers and Fortune 100 companies.

Travis has been involved in construction since he commissioned into the Army in 2013. After graduating college, Travis attended the U.S. Army Engineer School and was branch qualified as an Engineer Officer. During his engineer training, he studied horizontal and vertical construction, bridge building, demolitions, and various other construction disciplines. While in the Army, Travis served as the commander of a Sapper Company where he led a team of combat engineers, carpentry/masonry specialists, and field mechanics. He was most recently accepted for a Reserve accession in the Army’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
